Radio on the Internet: English-language stations online
Many radio stations stream their broadcasts on the Internet. Typically you will need RealPlayer or Windows Media Player, both of which can be downloaded.
Television
Any English-language programmes shown on Spanish TV are dubbed with Spanish.
It is possible with certain programmes depending on the make of television to
switch the Spanish dubbing off and watch the programme in English, other than
that there are no programmes shown in English.
Alternatively, it is possible to access UK-based free-to-air (FTA)
programming on the same satellite that broadcasts Sky Digital. Please note,
however, that there is no legal way to access encrypted programming on that
satellite while in Spain (such as Sky Digital's premium channels accessible only
through a Sky subscription package, or those channels that may only be watched
in the UK using a satellite receiver with a free-to-view - FTV - card
installed).
