"If I was the Editor of the newspaper........."

I think I could justify a 4 page section on Mallorca Sports. I think there is little coverage about anything except football, tennis and golf. For example they sell archery and badminton gear at Decathlon but where do you take part in either sport?

So the content would be about the minority sports as well as the mainline things. Coverage and promotion of leagues. Maybe interviews with local players (Nadal and Joe Bloggs).

Perhaps sports shops, travel agents, sports equipment suppliers, sports clubs etc. etc. would advertise.

The Mallorca Business Club ( www.mallorcabusinessclub.com ) would be interested in taking pages. This would add to the list of benefits the members enjoyed for their small membership fee! (including Feature Classified Ads on here!!)

We would highlight local business trends and activities, always accentuating the positives - and we have such a lot of them. We would not have hardly any content that didn´t apply directly to businesses on the island. I think we could use 6 or 8 pages with 50% being advertising.

The Club would pay for some advertisements and we would hope the members would buy others. As this would be a vibrant business section for all Mallorcan businesses I am sure none members would want to advertise too.

Can I add I think this idea of "Section Owners" is absolutely first class and should ensure top content in each and every section. I also think Mallorca only content would be great!
